My Fiance and I are having my wedding ring designed, and we’re still trying to figure out what the design should entail. The ring is a very lovely silver pearl in a gold swirl setting.
I’m a nature lover and wanted to keep a vine-like band, and given the shape of my ering, I was thinking that it would be wonderful to design a ring that fit into the shape of the ering. I’m not a big diamond person, but I’m not completely against them, either. We were thinking of embellishing with rubies and garnets.
I’ve attached a picture of my ering as well as a picture of one of my favorite inspiration photos. Hopefully they took 🙂

are you thinking you want a band that can be attached/soldered together, or one to wear loose? Some brides with unique e-rings wear their wedding band on the opposite hand, in which case both can be gorgeous!

Are you having them welded together? I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

oh i think that looks so cool it will fit like a lock and key piece (puzzle?)

@ daydreamwanderer and hisbarista: Thanks! I really love it. Especially since Fiance picked out the pearl by chance, and it just happened to be silver…the love pearl!
@ crebre80: Yep! That’s the idea. I like delicate, interwoven things.
I’m thinking they’ll be soldered together, so that it’ll look like it’s just one band.

I love the design of the wedding band, very unique. And I love pearls (they are my birthstone) but I don’t want to get any pearl jewelry because I never take my rings off and I know pearls are very delicate and you can’t wash your hands with them, shower, etc. But I love the idea of having a pearl engagement ring!
