I recently upgraded my ering and wedding band. My old ering was a size 6 so i kept the same size for my ering. The old ring was 2mm and the new ring is 5mm wide so size 6 is little tight which i realized once i got the ring. So its a little trouble taking the ring on and off. i might go for a resize soon. So i ordered size 6.5 for my half eternity wedding band. The size looks good but it goes in circles on my finger. THe diamond side is on the bottom within few minutes of my wearing the ring. Even though its the right size, I am not sure why it does that? Does anyone else experience the same thing? Or should i invest in an eternity band? Or is there a way to fix the issue without investing more?
I saw a clear polish trick on you tube which helps to tighten the ring little bit. Is that safe?

if you put the band on top of the engagement ring instead of under it that will help. Ring snuggies are good too. I lost weight after my wedding, so I wear a ring snuggie on on engagement ring to keep them from moving too much.

So its totally normal to have to go up in size with a wider band. I had a super super wide setting a few years ago and had to go up an entire ring size maybe more I cant remember but at least a whole ring size. Why not do a 6.5 on the 5mm engagement and a 6 or 6.25 on the 1/2 eternity? Also, I had a 1/2 eternity and it spun constantly, it was totally the right size, it just spent most of the time with the diamonds on the palm side of my finger vs where its should be on top center with my solitaire. I recently upgraded too and decided to go with a slightly wider diamond setting and no band what so ever, but if I do ever decide to get a band I will probably do a gold beaded or twist band. But if you can afford an eternity I would do that. I just couldn’t justify it at the time when I had the solitaire. Best of luck, share with us what you end up doing. 🙂
