    I personally don’t recommend mixing 14kt gold and 18kt gold. The 18kt gold ring is going to be softer, so the 14kt gold ring will scratch/beat it up.

    I have an 18K white gold e-ring and a 14kwhite gold wedding band, I have had Zero issues! I even asked a few seperate jewellers if this would be a problem, they all said no and that the wear and tear differece will be very minimal if even noticeable at all!

    @beekiss:  It really comes down to personal preference =) If you were thinking 18k WG and silver, Id say no.
