Hey Bees, I started this thread a few days ago (http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/what-band-for-3-stone-ering-on-thin-band) and now I wanted to follow it up including another picture. I’ve always wanted a straight band, but nothing sits flush with my ring. I could have the gap, but I think I’d rather shave my e-ring setting so a band can sit closer. What do you think?? Also, post pictures of what you chose to do for yourself!! (p.s. I’m pretty heartset on a princess channel set band to match)

p.s. I’m going to the jeweler this weekend, so hopefully I can find out about shaving down my center stone setting to make more room!

I definitely think curved fits better. Even though there’s a gap, it still looks like they mesh well. The straight looks… lopsided? Incomplete somehow?

Straight looks awesome! Just solder them if you want them to always sit straight together. I love the gap! Here’s mine to prove it…;)

I like the way curved bands look better with 3 stone rings. I tried on a whole bunch of straight bands with mine and they just never looked right to me. Mine sits nicely with it, but still leaves a gap, which I don’t mind. I didn’t want something that was gonna rub on the side of my ring and cause problems.
