@irene123: I love the ring Noodles picked, although if you have a plantinum engagement ring I would definitely get a platinum or palladium wedding band.  White gold is plated in rhodium, which wears away with time, showing the slightly yellowish hue of the underlying white gold.  I have a platinum e-ring and a white gold wedding band (both are vintage) and *I* can definitely see the color difference between the two rings.  (Not sure anyone else can, though.)

I think that plain band with the classic Tiffany is a bit boring, so I would go for an eternity band or an engraved band – either one would look even better in knife edge to match your e-ring.

ETA: Oh… the rings YellowShoes posted, especially the first one, are perfect!  Blue Nile is amazing, btw.  We ordered my husband’s wedding band through them and the customer service was top notch (bought a ring then returned it to buy a new one with engraving inside – all with zero hassle and zero cost to us).

You have so many choices with the Tiffany setting!  I don’t think you have to match the shape of the e-ring.

If you go to Tiff’s website, you can view the classic Tiffany next to a plain knife-edge band, a shared-prong eternity band and a channel-set eternity band (click the images in the top right corner of the page).  I think all three options are beautiful.  I also like a bezel eternity band (Tiffany Jazz) with your e-ring.

I posted this in another thread.  I could only find 3 manufacturers that made a band that actually aligned properly with that ring.  SES Creations, Memoire (who makes the Tiffany setting for Tiffany), and Whiteflash.  It’s the shared prong wedding band, which there are a lot of, but those were specifically low profile which is what you need for it to sit somewhat flush to a Tiffany e-ring setting.  I was looking at the 7 stone and they range in the amount of stones and the carat size.  It looks exactly like the shared prong Tiffany makes.  I looked at a pave setting but didn’t like it so I didn’t research that further. I wouldn’t do an eternity personally.  The diamonds under your finger serve no purpose other than possibly falling out from getting hit so much.  When I tried the 7 stone, it looked like an eternity but I didn’t have to worry about stones under my hand.

I also have a round classic tiffany (though mine is 4-prong) knife-edge e-ring.  Fiance and I just happened to find our wedding bands this weekend, though we didn’t intend to purchase (it always happens that way… you go in to ‘look’ and end up finding the perfect thing!).  My e-ring diamond is a 1.2 carat, and the band is a total carat weight of .51 carats.  There are 13 diamonds, going halfway around the band.  I tried the set on my pinky because the band was too small for my fat fingers.  The second picture is both of our rings together.  My band is fairly thin, around 2mm, which I think is a perfect size for the knife edge e-ring band.  i tried on bands with larger diamonds but they looked silly next to the knife edge of my ering.  My dream set was exactly this, as seeon the Tiffany & Co website (though mine are not Tiffany).

Also please disregard both my fat pinky finger (which I promise is not amputated, just bent) and the odd yellow color of my e-ring diamond.  It’s actaully a near-colorless diamond and the shitty store lighting and iPhone camera made it look yellow and weird

I have a Tiffany replica and I chose a plain knife edge band. I plan on one day getting a low profile eternity too (not a knife edge eternity, just a flat one. I don’t like knife edges with stones).

@MrsDrRose612: We actually got ours from a place called Diamonds Direct here in our area.  I cannot recommend them highly enough (visit their website for an explanation of how their business works…basically the owner also owns a diamond mine in Israel and because they cut out a middleman type scenario, they offer their diamonds for SIGNIFICANTLY less money than a national diamond retailer).  Their diamonds are extremely high quality, and I will tell you that Fiance purchased my diamond for around $3k less than he would have paid at like a Reed’s Jeweler’s or a Jared’s.  Because we have access to Diamonds Direct, we are able to get larger diamonds in terms of carats as well as higher quality diamonds for our price range.

I think they have a Dirty Delete in Charlotte and Birmingham as well, so if you’re near there, check them out for sure!!  They will be getting our business for all our diamond needs (also, if you purcahse a diamond(s) through them, you get 20% off for life…so we got 20% off each of our bands)!!
