laurenalaine83 : I mix metals all the time! Varying colors of gold with plat or stainless steel etc look great and there’s no wrong way to wear your stuff plus you aren’t any less married for the number or -lack-there-of- of rings you wear 😊

Exibit A: antique WG anniversary ring with custom peach gold wedding band
Exibit B: gold wedding band with aforementioned diamond/plat wedding band
I usually wear it like the first pic or one band on each hand, i constantly change it up and there are no limits to what you can do besides money lol

I’d talk to Lindy from Penellibelle about getting something custom made. She’s affordable and the quality is incredible. Her Hattie round halo design has a matching band that sits flush 🙂

My ring is square but similar to yours. I went through the same thoughts as you after I got mine. My E ring was custom made for me and it was not a fun process but i ended up with a beautiful ring in the end. Anyway, when it came time to decide on a band I talked to the jewler we used to make my e ring and decided to rock the gap. There are times when i want to wear my band without my E ring and a custom band wont allow that. Just a thought. The band doesnt have to fit your E ring perfectly unless that is what you want. I love how some ladies have different metals, stones, styles or huge gaps. It all comes down to what you like and want. Id go try on some bands and see what you like. They have curved bands most places which could give you an idea if you want to go that route or rock the gap. Either way your ring is lovely!

croh78 : I really like your band, I have looked at similar designs as an option.
claaah : Thanks! I’m familiar with this seller. I’ll keep this in mind.
I’ve considered getting a Victorian-era snake ring as a wedding band. Not one of the thick ones that wrap multiple times, but I’ve seen a few that are simpler. I love the history behind them and their symbolism. I’ve never seen one that wasn’t yellow gold, so I would also be mixing metals. I’d considered it before I got my engagement ring, and I’m back to looking at options now.

How about 1 (or both) of these curved rings:
