Hi all!
I wanted to see what my fellow Heidi Gibson ring gals have decided to do for their wedding band! Specifically, if you went for a traditional band how does it fit with the low profile of the ring? Or if you found a contour band how does it fit around your design and what company did you use, if you don’t mind sharing? Let me know I would love to see!
I have the Cambria in a size 6 for reference 🙂 Thanks!

I haven’t tried it out yet, but I may just go with a simple David Yurman cable band.
Would love to see what other Heidi Gibson brides decided for their wedding bands!

I don’t have a Heidi Gibson, but I’ve seen neato V-shaped rings. Maybe you can find something like that? Lemme see if I can find a picture…

That’s what I’d get if I had a Heidi Gibson, anyway 🙂

OMG I wanted to post the same thing! I wasn’t sure what kind of wedding band I should get. We have vert similar rings! Mine’s the waterfall cambria.
I was thinking of several possibilities… One just being a simple large gold band. I don’t want to wear a gold band the same size or smaller as the engagement ring, just because I wouldn’t like the look of it personally on me. I want something a bit chunkier and more substantial. Other options include buying two black onyx rings and wearing them on either side, like my grandmother used to do (I like the different colors and funkiness) or some cool rings I found on pinterest, I’ll post them!

Go on Marrow Fine’s instagram. She does a lot of ballerina rings and stacks them up in different ways.

buckeyegirl : Everything I’ve read about HG rings is that they sit lower than one might expect from the design, which minimizes snagging, but that there’s still enough clearance to pair with a wedding ring that sits flush. Are you finding this to not be the case?
natterratter : I’d be super interested to see your idea of bookending your [GORGEOUS] ring with black onyx rings!

With my grandmother’s onyx rings, which are a bit big for me, but you can see that they fit under the ring nicely.

You can see they fit well under the diamonds, but…
My ring might fit looser than yours (I’m pushing it up with my thumb in this picture). I actually met Heidi in-person to pick it up, and when I tried it on we realized we’d have to get it resized (from a 5.5 to a 5.5-). There is still some room, however, because I have fairly large finger knuckles, so I wouldn’t be able to get it over my knuckle if it was any smaller. I can see from your picture that this isn’t an issue for you, but if you’re worried about it not fitting under because it sits too low, probably just go check out and try some rings out at a jewelry store, or maybe buy some cheapies from claire’s just to see what’s an option for you! Please keep us updated on this, I would love to hear about the journey and ultimate decision! @buckeyegirl

natterratter : Your onyx rings just made my day! I LOVE them! They look so bold and fun with your ring. I have a ballerina ring and I plan on getting a diamond eternity band for it. The picture is awful and it’s on the wrong side but I think it looks great
