maybemaybeline :  there are lots of vintage platinum wedding bands list on Etsy, maybe you can find one from the same era as your ering, just set the price range for what you are comfortable with and tale it to a jeweler when it arrives.

If you don’t mind a thinner band, you can get one here for $200. What’s your budget? I agree platinum is the way to go with your platinum e-ring.

Your ring is really very beautiful, and before I saw a thinner band suggested, I was thinking that a very thin, solid band would be just the right look.

maybemaybeline :  No prob, I haven’t bought from there myself but it’s a trusted and frequently-recommended site so it’s the first place I think of for bands. If you’re not sure about the style, go to a jewelry store first and try a few widths, plain vs milgrain, etc. so you know you’ll like the style and won’t have to worry about returns.

Some jewelers have vintage sections of pre-owned. The 2 benefits to looking at those would be that you could actually see it together with your ring, and you’d get a lower price for a ring they would polish up to look brand new.

With your ring, I would think it would not be a simple task to get something that pairs well, so I would definitely go local and not internet. I’ve seen rings even in person I thought would look good and when I put it on my finger, it doesn’t.

Beautiful ring 🙂

Have you tried it with YG? All of the British Royal family wear a simple YG band of Welsh gold for their wedding ring, and I feel like it goes with nearly all styles.
The Queen has a beautiful Art Deco platinum ring, and it looks fab with the YG band.

maybemaybeline :  My 2 mm platinum wedding band (mine is the heavy comfort fit domed) came from eweddingbands.  They were wonderful to work with and my ring looks wonderful (over a year later).  They routinely have 10% off sales, so I’d get one during one of their sales to get an even better deal.

Sometimes Etsy sellers have vintage platinum rings for decent prices as well.
