I think it looks great! I like the subtle difference between the two. I think both gap and no gap are fairly popular so get what you like best.

I dislike gaps. I had my bands all sodered together. WAYYYY better!

I prefer a small gap (and actually have designed a set of mine this way). I like seeing a distinct wedding band.

I just had a notch cut out of one of my prongs so I can fit a band with it without a drastic gap. I have a marquise so the gap was even more substantial. I am excited to truly band hunt now. A little gap looks perfectly fine. But if it bugs you take it to your jeweler and see if a notch is possible. ๐Ÿ™‚ Might be a happy medium? Best of luck. Your ring is beautiful.

just got my wedding band. It fits well under the notch. ๐Ÿ™‚ With a marquise or at least the way mine was set, I would have a huge gap, but the notch did the trick.
