What about a twisted pave band? Something like this would help minimize the gap because the head of your ring can sit in one of the dips in the wedding band

I second the twisted pave.

Or just get two bands- one to wear solo, and one to wear exclusively with the engagement ring. I think it’s best to do that anyway because you’ll want to solder the wedding band to the engagement ring to prevent it from rubbing against the engagement ring basked and damaging it.

so my center stone is set low, i ended up going with a chevron band and i love it. thre is a bit of a gap between the two but i kind of like that, plus i like that the band looks good if i wear it by itself.

I think a thin eternity band would be really pretty, maybe same width as your e-ring. there would be a gap, but it would be like embracing the gap and I think it would look really good, kinda of blake lively-ish.
