I think a nice plain gold band would compliment your ring really. Yellow gold would be cool

Yes, I second   the plain  band idea too.

sarathemermaid :  I’d try a plain chevron or U shaped band to see if it would be able to fit aound the basket.

Do you want a gap or not?

sarathemermaid :  I would probably see if I could have part of the ring reconstructed (Maybe the basket can be raised a little bit? Or have it reconstructed?) so that I could fit a straight band or two underneath. With such a big basket, I fear a straight ring would look pretty strange.

For reference, here is the Catherine’s set. It seems like her ring is sized a little bigger so she has room to put some bands underneath, but I’m sure having gold/diamonds rubbing on gold would scratch things up, which is why my suggestion is to have the basket raised or reconstructed so that you could fit the bands properly underneath it.

sarathemermaid :  lol, me too, (cheap)but if you search 10k chevron ring on Ebay a few nice ones come up for really good prices and they look cute alone imo. There’s a super skinny little one for like $30 and a really pretty wide scroll one for like $100. I got my wedding band from Ebay for like $75 plus shipping.

Can you maybe size the ring up to fit a small band underneath? I have a similar setting and my ring is one size larger than my bands.
