I was thinking of getting an eternity band to go with my e-ring. I looked at some lovely ones but would a plain band look better as to not take away from my solitaire? Fiance and I will be looking at wedding bands next month when I visit him.
Here is my ring.

i think a plain band sitting flush with that would be very classy. You may like more bling. I’m thinking you can always add an eternity band later.

I went with a half eternity channel set band.
I think it compliments it without overwhelming it

I have a 1.09ct solitare, not sure the details of my band though 🙂 it looks like there is a gap however my diamond is highset so it actually sits flush against the band.
I also was trying to decide if i should get a plain band or not but as soon as i put this on i loved it. I was also wanting some sparkle for those times im not wearing my ering.

Very beautiful ring! I have a .53 carat solitaire and I went with a .25 diamond band and I love them together. But I also really love plain bands, too! I would try on both and see which you prefer more! 🙂

I couldn’t decide between a classic plain band or a sparkly one so this is what I went for, a compromise between both I think and I still adore it. I now also have a channel set diamond band as my eternity ring

I love a classic solitaire with an eternity band, it’s my all time favorite ring combo!

Here’s my set. I love the look of a chunkier wedding band but when I tried it on, I think it just made my hands look even fatter hahaha. I just liked the look of this thinner one best!

a_day_at_the_fair: love love your set! i like how the stones are not exposed. i was worried it would rub againts my e-ring.
waterlilly15: thats what i’m worried about my future band. i want it to be flush against my e-ring but i was worried if the stones on the band were too exposed like yours it would rub againts it but i’m glad to see that yours dont so i have that option.
Sweet.Sugar.Rose: i saw your set on a previous post and i am just so in love with the rose gold band! i think its so cute and it gives the e-ring some POP. i’m thinking a plain rose gold band would look beautiful as well. My e-ring band is a little chunkier i wonder if i get a few thin plain bands would it look alright?
MsKaren: gorgeous. i love how it doesnt overpower the e-ring. 😀 i could probably add two if i wanted some more sparkle!
ElleQ: i completely agree, my e-ring has a thicker band so i’m definitely looking for a thinner band. i too have the fear of making my fingers and hands look chubby haha!
LoveLikeCrazy: i love it, by the way is that a spacer in between your e-ring and wedding band?
Supersleuth: thank you! i love seeing plain bands. i like how flush it is againts your e-ring
KeeKalena: yay i love seeing thicker e-ring bands! i absolutely love yours..i like how it sits flush against your e-ring but has that space so it wont rub againts the WB,
thank you ladies!

lopeztosmith: thank you! Yes it is a spacer so the diamonds in the wb don’t damge the prongs on my ER

Love love solitaires and sparkly wedding bands. I dont’ get to wear my diamond band yet, but fell in love with the look of a superthin eternity band next to my slightly wider (2.5 mm) e ring band. I personally think it makes the diamond look bigger and brighter.
Definitely try on a number of options, though. You may find you love something different on your own hand than you admire on others.
