Can you put up a picture of the already available custom band? Perhaps something can be done to it instead.

I think the band you’re already getting will work best.  If you get a band that pops that will take away from your ering.  With what you’re showing us, the ering will be the star of the show and not have to compete with the band.

That ring is GORGEOUS! You almost certainly will need to have a curved band custom fit to something like that if you decide not to go with the one that’s made for it. You could have it made with milgrained bezel-set diamonds like the ones around the sapphire, either eternity style or as a halfway band. But it’s unusual enough that it would be VERY lucky for you to find a band that both fit the motif of the engagement ring AND also had a correct curve.

With such an intricate e-ring, i wouldn’t even attempt to match it.

What about something simple like this? http://www.stylemepretty.com/gallery/photo/213625

It wouldn’t sit flush, but i don’t think that’s always a bad thing.

Or have you thought of getting a band you love that doesn’t “match” and wearing your e-ring on your right hand?

@thejill:  Thanks. I really like the custom band as it doesn’t take away from your e-ring. With the shape and size of your halo I think you are going to have a difficult time finding anything that will sit flush unless you opt for the custom route again.

Perhaps if you decide later to not wear your e-ring you can get a more detailed wedding band to wear alone?

@thejill:  I don’t think you’re being too picky at all! Unless you and your Fiance plan on ‘upgrading’ later, this is THE ring you’ll wear for the rest of your life.

I think your ring is beautiful, but I don’t care for the matching band either.  I would think about getting a flat band, since no ring is going to sit flush without being custom, and then you have the option to switch the engagement ring to your right hand and wear the band alone if you choose.  Other than that, I think custom may be the only way to go Frown
