If you have the optiin to return it, I think I would.  It looks too small for your engagement ring.

MsW-to-MrsM:  I don’t think it gives you muffin finger in the way that rings do when they’re too tight. I always thought really thin bands created a muffin finger illusion on me too. I don’t dislike that the ring is plain or thin, but in the pic it almost looks like you ering is a bigger size (ring size, not width), but that might just be the angle of the photo. Are you planning to wear your wedding band alone sometimes?

I’m actually looking to pair a plain band with my solitaire setting and I found that I liked a slightly wider band next to a thinner ering setting. For example with a 2 mm ering, a 3 mm to a 3.5 mm made the pair just pop. In my opinion I found that anything wider than 3.5 mm was just too wide. The jeweler even had a good eye and recommended the wedding band be just slightly wider than the ering to show it is to separate rings. Have you tried going into any stores to try rings on? In person for me helped me to stop agonize over it. Keep in mind you may need to size your rings up as well to avoid the dreaded muffin too. 2 rings together can add bulk so sizing up is a common occurrence.

Definitely try some on, especially after getting this one and it not being exactly what wanted. Good luck – let us know when you find the one!

MsW-to-MrsM:  I’m looking for a soft knife edge wedding band to go with with my moissy solitare as well.
