Here is my engagement ring: at the thickest part it is 4 mm wide, and tapers to 2mm. I am between 2 wedding bands one is .5 carats and 2 mm thick, the other is 1 carat and 2.6 mm thick. I don’t want to overwhelm my engagment ring, which should I choose! (center stone 1.3 carats)

I agree that you dont want to overwhelm you hand. Your ring is gorgeous and I think simple is better in this case 😀

I’m not a fan of “thick on thick”, so I would go for the 2mm band.
Plus, it’s always a good thing that it would save a little money..

I would go with the 2 so it’s the same width at the tapered part. That will make it look like it “matches” more.

I tried on a 2mm eternity band and it was WAY too thin for me. I felt like I would end up destroying it. Have you tried them on at all? I 2.6mm is still pretty thin and being that you have a larger stone I don’t think the 2.6mm would overwhelm your e-ring.

I like the thin band with your ring. It’s too awesome to outshine it with a big band.

Have you tried any on? 2.6mm is not much bigger than 2mm, so depends on how much bling you want- both would be pretty.
