If you did a plain white gold/platnium band would it sit flush? I love that look because its so classic, but sometimes you can’t do it with long shapes like ovals/emerald cuts

Ho high is it set? Could something sit below the stone? Or does it have to be a gap? Or have something made that stops and starts on either side of the stone? It doesnt cost more to have something made.

I would want the band to sit flush and I wouldn’t want the diamonds on a band to wrap all the way around so I would like something like this:




Although this is nice:




And you might need a curved one to sit perfectly next to it:
