    It’s totally your preference how to wear them, but traditionally the wedding band is worn first and then the engagement ring so it’s closer to the heart or something or other. To me, it looks funny worn e-ring first then band, but that’s only on me. I don’t give two turtle craps how anyone else prefers to wear their rings.

    I had no idea that this was what is done traditionally, but since my band is slightly bigger in size than my engagement ring, I plan on wearing it on the inside to keep it secure.

    Yes… I think it’s because you’re supposed to keep the wedding band closer to your heart?

    I have a friend that wears them wrong and it drives me crazy. I think about it every time I see her.

    My mom told me that the engagement ring protects the wedding band or something but I like how things look with the wedding band on the inside.

    You can wear it wherever you want or follow whatever tradition speaks to you/you or your family adheres to. I have a German background and so I’m sticking to their tradition of wearing the band on a different hand. That and I don’t want my rings rubbing against eachother. There’s really no right or wrong.

    @blingbling:  lol ever look at the James Allen website?  All the wedding sets have the wedding band on the outside for the hand animation.  Every time I see it, I wonder “why would they do that?”

    I feel like it looks unbalanced if you wear it on the outside, but that’s just me.

    @LiliKitty:  This!

    I find it a bit funny looking when the ering is on the inside. Just a visual thing for me and I really do not like the look on me! To me it just looks unbalanced somehow. Of course now I wear two bands on the inside and one on the outside, so I guess I have both ways going on…ha ha…but ering is still not on inside-inside, which is what I do not like look of.

    I have 2 co-workers who wear them on the outside – not sure why and I don’t want to be rude and ask. I’ll be wearing mine on the inside. It looks better to me on the inside.

    I’ve always heard that the wedding band goes on the inside closest to the heart, and that’s what I plan on doing. I know someone who wears her wedding band on the outside, and I think it looks fine. She always says “he put it on on the outside I’m going leave it that way.” I think if you want to wear it on the outside that is fine, and its totally up to you.
