Both my e-ring and band are platinum so they started out aroundthe same price, but I inharited a diamond from my great grandmother which is being set into the e-ring brining the value up considerably  – I think they are both around $2200, ant the diamond will make the e-ring about $11 000

Technically my wedding band was more than my e-ring but thats only because Fiance got the center stone from my moms ring and only had to buy the setting $1500. So we decided to splurge on the band and have it custom made to match my ring. Its a wrap and I love it  It was $1600. But the total appraisal value of my e-ting with the center stone was $3000  ๐Ÿ™‚

My wedding band was way less than my e-ring, due to the cost of the center stone on my e-ring. But I’d be interested to see any bands that cost more/the same as the e-ring!

I have an heirloom wedding band. My great-grandfather wwas a jeweler and actually made my great grandmother’s wedding band in the 40s.

So any e-ring was going to be more expensive than that!

My wedding band was 2,000…Which wasn’t more than my Ering, but it is pricey in my opinion considering there are many diamond bands out there for under 1k. It’s .50 cts

What are you looking for? Mine was pricey because of the metal work…

Um, yeah, ering has a pricetag (saw the GIA, receipt, independent appraisal) that I demanded the wring will NOT be.  The most requirements we are putting into the wrings is that they are matching, they are gold and they have our initials/wedding date inscripted.  The ering was ridic though and no way am I going to drain my FI’s savings like the ering did.  I say, though, the ering is worth it.  Erings are a promise token.  He’s getting me and all my gainful employment and love and nurturing for the rest of his life.  The wedding ring is a vows token.  And now saying this, it dawns on me even more how sentimentally valuable both are.

I feel a little silly voting and commenting since we haven’t purchased our wedding bands yet, but I’m about 99.9% sure of the band I’ll be getting (we’ve discussed it and I even tried it on when we were originally shopping for my engagement ring).

This is the ring I’m pretty sure I want (it matches my engagement ring):

My engagement ring was definitely more expensive than this ring.  I’ve seen some Tacori wedding bands that cost as much or more than my engagement ring, though.  I found one that I thought was pretty and then saw the price … I showed it to my fiance and he was like, “You will not be getting that one!”  Haha.  (That ring was almost $10,000!)

@Scintillante:  Thanks its from Scott Kay’s Heavens Gate colLection! Yes there are Diamonds on all 3 sides. Your ring is very pretty with what looks like a double halo!

@mjwyatt84:  Aw thank you ๐Ÿ™‚ I feel like it looks awkward in pictures because the diamond sits above the halo. There’s so much going on I can’t figure out the best angLe to take a pic from. … And I kind of feel like my Wedding band being so thick makes my center diamond look small.. But I surely appreciate it for its intricate metal work. <3
