I wear mine underneath.  I love that it catches my eye and is closer to my me that way.

I’m going to be wearing mine underneath…it will be far less likely that I have to take my wedding ring off than my engagement ring, plus I want it closer to me!

I wear mine on the bottom.  I think that it looks better that way but traditions are meant to be broken!

@smpepsi:  Can we see a pic of your band on top??  I’m curious how it would look…

I see lots of women who wear their wedding band on top of their ering! I’m not sure if it’s cultural, or just their personal tastes, but I always find it interesting. Do whatever makes you happy! I wear mine under, but I just prefer how it looks that way. Plus, my band is *slightly* too big, so the ering keeps it perfectly in place lol

I wear mine that way, both because my engagement ring gets too loose and because I love the ering so much more than the wedding ring (which we had all kinds of problems with).  I think my set looks better this way, though a few people have commented that it’s “weird” and I’m “bucking tradition”.

What can I say?  It’s what I do!

I feel that you should wear the ring the way you want. I have seen people wear it on the bottom, the top, and on one the top and bottom.

I wear it with the wedding band underneath, I haven’t even tried it the other way around, but now I’m going to check it out, lol.

Someone once told me that if the woman wears her wedding band on top that signals that they’re a widow. That might be an older thing – not really done anymore – I’m not sure. I hadn’t heard it anywhere else.

I plan on wearing my wedding band underneath but I have seen it both ways.

I wear mine backwards mostly because my ering is slightly bigger than my wedding band and i feel like the wedding band helps make it feel more secure and they spin less that way.  They are both really thin so I don’t think anyone notices one way or the other.

hehe I just reversed mine to put the wedding band on top and it looked soooo weird with my set!  Id say if it looks better then go for it – who cares?!  and @MrsDG – thats ridiculous, people chastized me for bucking tradition as well by having my dogs in the wedding.  I stopped being polite and told them it was our wedding and the dogs were our children and it wasnt their business.  Lame
