I like how the thinner ones look, but they will not stand up.  As long as you are ok with that, I would do that.  If not, one that is at least 1.8mm is a much more durable option.

Option 2. I think the two bands really balance it out well and makes it pop a bit more than with one.

I love the two bands!!

Is it an option to buy the second one as well, but wait a year to wear the second band, as like the one year anniversary ring? Isn’t that a thing? haha I’m new to this so don’t blast me if I’m wrong

joco:  They will warp more easily, and then lose stones.  But if you are okay replacing them in a few years, maybe it is ok!  I wear a variety of bands with my ring, and have kind of relaxed about things getting damaged.  I have a 1.5mm pink diamond band that I love the look of!!  I know it will not last forever with daily wear, but I don’t care.  I wear it when I want, and if I have to repair or replace eventually I look at it as a fair trade for the enjoyment I get from wearing it.

You have beautiful long fingers and I think the two 1.5mm bands frame your halo perfectly and are very flattering on your hand. I would not size down to 1mm bands, it looks great as is in the second picture! And I have very simple taste (solitaire and plain gold band) and do not think it looks like too much so no need to worry about that! (I actually think it looks busier with just one band, lol.)

I am all about bands being the same thickness as the ering. I’m a little ocd that way. I also have no personal or sentimental connection with 3 bands total. (some people do) so I would go with just the one. Love this mixed metals though!!! The symmetry does look beautiful with your ering though

I vote option two! The two bands give it such a beautiful symmetrical look. It’s a beautiful ring!
