So I’ve been trying to figure out what type of wedding band to choose for my low set ering… it is oddly shaped, and although I don’t mind gaps, any straight wedding band with MINE in particular would have a gap that is far too large for my tastes.
So I’m looking into my options here. I just bought a cheap zig zag ring from etsy, and I love it because it’s so unusual, like my ering, and very delicate.
Choice #1 Zig Zag
I had also thought about getting an “open” band, but I’m not sure if I like that is is open, when the band is suppose to symbolize no beggining and no end…
Choice # 2 Open Band (not my ring, obviously, but same idea)
Then there’s the chevron option. I’m not sure I want to go with this, because I feel like it would be a deep “V” and I don’t know if it will throw off the balance of my ering, especially if there are diamonds along the band.
Choice #3 Chevron

@TammieRei: I like the first one! You could get another one for the other side to balance it?

@TammieRei: I really love that first one because it’s so unique! I love the last one also. I’m not sure if I’d do the “open” band though because although I think it’s very pretty, it reminds me of a toe ring.

I LOVE the first one! Very cool and unique 🙂

@engagedandinlove: thank you! I’m not sure about a matching one to go on the otger side… I’m afraid it might look to much like an Easter egg if that makes sense?
@JustLove25: now that you mention toe ring I can totally see that! Thanks!
@Regina Phalange: thank you! I’m a little scared I may want something more traditional in the future, but I’m loving the look right now!
bump! more votes, please, bees!

@TammieRei: I really like the first two bands in an eclectic artsy way. It’s pretty and unique. I don’t think the V will compliment your Ering in the way the first two will.

The first one is awesome!!!!!

the zigzag is neat, but i wonder if it would shift and get off alignment and bug you.

@TammieRei: I actually think the open style band looks insanely amazing with this ring style. It would look great on it’s own, two, which the chevron style lacks. I actually voted zigzag, though, for the same reason you stated about the symbolism of the unbroken line.

love the first one and the second one. for the first one, maybe the zig zag with stones would look nice to match the band of the ring.

Love your gorgous Tiffany & co ring–so unique! The first band-(the zig zag one) really makes them both stand out! Love the different “textures” of the metal and the different line. They complement each other!

I like the second one. Which one did you choose post pics!
