bluecandy :  I honestly like it a lot with the plain band, but it is all up to you on if you want a second band or not. You don’t have to have one. Or if you want, Get the plain one for the wedding and don’t wear it after, unless you want to.

I love it with the plain band! It’s not too bulky and doesn’t detract from your e-ring.

Your ring is beautiful! I also think it looks great with the plain band. I too was unsure when I was looking at engagement rings if I wanted to wear a wedding band, because I thought the rings I was interested in were too beautiful on their own. So I understand your dilemma! An option is to buy an inexpensive estate wedding band, and if you decide you don’t like it, you can wear your engagement ring only and won’t have to worry about wasting a lot money on a second ring. I honestly have seen LOTS of women who are married just wearing one ring. You don’t have to wear a wedding band if you prefer your ring on its own. It’s whatever makes you happy. 🙂

I love how it looks like it belongs with the first one.

I love the plain band on you! But go with whatever makes you happy. And don’t forget that it’s doesn’t have to be a choice forever – if you want to keep your engagement ring separate now, you can always wear the wedding band on the other hand, and then decide you want to wear them as a set together later.

They’re both gorgeous, but the second one sounds like it suits you better.  I have a diamond center with pear sapphire sidestones and expect to have the same dilemma.

bluecandy : Maybe try a pave band that isn’t a channel setting?  I think the twisted band would be beautiful too! It adds a little more interest than the plain band, but isn’t as flashy as the channel set band.  Maybe see if you can find a similar one to try in person?

I think both bands compliment your ring.  But if I had to pick, the plain one.

bluecandy :  I think that twisted one would be pretty and I wouldn’t feel bad asking him to do a simple band. He does them all the time and is happy to! If you aren’t sure about the twisted against your ring, email David Klass and ask if he can send you a plastic model of that ring so you can see if you like it. He absolutely will, he did that for me a few times.

Just an idea, since you have such a lovely blue centre stone, why not have a wedding band that has alternating white and blue stones?? I’ve seen sapphire sets like that and they are totally beautiful! And tying in the colour would add, rather than take away, from your e-ring! Best of luck 🙂
