MariselaY:  Your ring is lovely. Is your question regarding whether or not to get a band?

The people that matter in your life will know that you are married, strangers most likely will think your engaged, bu they are strangers! So if you and your Fiance are cool with it, who cares? Lol!

I am wearing my band on my right hand. There are ways that people expect you do wear your rings, but at the end of the day you can do what you like! As PP mentioned some people might think you are engaged, but I don’t think that’s a big deal.

MariselaY:  I agree with your initial choice. I think that your ring is so bold and beautiful on it’s own, that another ring to wear with it would be just too much. Using your ring for engagment and wedding is not big deal, many people take this route, so do what feels best for you 🙂

I don’t think you need a band. You can use your ring for the exchanging of rings, and then it also becomes your wedding ring… Or you can get a more simple wedding band and wear that on vacation, etc. Totally your call! 🙂

Yes one of my friends had a big engagement ring and didn’t get a band.  you can get a really thin plain gold one if you feel you need on later

I’m not adding a band either.  My ring has awesome detail along the side, and I don’t want to cover up diamonds!  I love my ring how it is and I don’t need anything extra.

I don’t think you should add a band with that ring! It is stunning on its own.

I would rock that beauty on its own as a wedding ring.

I have an aunt that always just wears an engagement ring. Never a band. I am in the camp of doing whatever the heck you and your fiancé are comfortable with. Your ring is gorgeous and I wouldn’t wear a band with it. If you want something to use during your ceremony, a plain band would be perfect and then you’d have it if you ever wanted to just wear a band.

MariselaY:  I am personally never a fan of the wedding band only because I am inlove with how engagement rings look alone. YOUR engagement ring definately can stand alone! I dont feel like there are any rules at all on having a band or not. gorgeous ring! let it shine on its own! and having a simple wedding band to wear on the days you dont feel like wearing the big ring is also a nice idea.

MariselaY:  your ring is gorgeous! I would definitely leave it as is and use it as your wedding band as well. I actually want to use my engagement ring as my wedding band because I love it the way it is and my fiance chose it for me. Mine is fairly simple too..a single round diamond on a simple band 🙂
