We’re thinking about going shopping for wedding bands this weekend – but I’m at a loss as to where to go! We got my e-ring back in PA before we moved, so I haven’t been to any jewelry stores here… I’m sure I can find all the usual chains and such, but I’m wondering if there are any great jewelers in the city we should check out. Trying to stick to a budget so unfortunately, Cartier is out 😉

I totally misread the title and thought you were talking about wedding bands like Sixteen Candles. 🙁
But my engagement ring(and the 2 others my FSILs wear) were bought on Jeweler’s Row on Wabash between Washington and Monroe. There are a ton of places and it can be overwhelming. I can’t remember the name but the jeweler my Fiance used is one of the furthest North and is upstairs. Good luck and make sure to stop in to Sugar Bliss for some cupcakes when you need a break. Their creamcheese frosting is my favorite!

Steve Quick (Lincoln Park and Lincoln Square). They are really helpful and not pushy.

My e-ring is from New York Jewelers on Jeweler’s Row– and I have been so impressed with them. We got an incredible deal on my ring, and I’ve been by twice to check out bands and they’ve been so helpful!
I love Steve Quick on Clark- but for the same band and diamond carat weight- they wanted to charge me $1500 MORE. If you are looking for a deal, go to Jewelers Row!

Thanks everyone! We will definitely check out Jeweler’s Row – I hadn’t even known this existed 🙂
