I’m trying to get decide what type of wedding band I want to pair with my e-ring!
I have a 2ct round with a pave band, the stones in the band are decent sized. I am undecided whether I want a matching band with the same size stones for uniform, or a totally different mix look like an infinity twist band. I’ve also been tossing the idea of a plain band because I love the look… but I want to be able to wear it by itself and still have some sparkle 🙂
I attached a pic of my e-ring… Anyone with a similar e-ring looking to share a pic of what band you have it paired with would be great!
I still have plenty of time to figure this out but I literally have NO clue. 😂

That’s a big stone, so I’d probably get a plain band. Keep in mind you can always get anniversary bands too that you can pair with your e-ring later.

Bubble band! Or a band with rounds and marquise. I’m all about the mixing and matching look!!!

I, too, have a pave engagement ring. I went to a jeweler and he showed me 50-100 different wedding band options that coordinate with my ring. I think you really need to go to a quality jeweler and have him/her sit down with you and really match rings to your engagement ring. A well-coordinated plain band would look great–but a poorly-matched plain band would look horrible. Same with bubble band, infinity twist band, etc.

I agree. Rings that look good in pictures or in the jewelry store don’t always look good on a person’s finger let alone combined with another ring. I love bubble bands (and other fashion-types) and think they look fantastic as stacking rings, but I don’t think one would feel like a wedding ring to me though, but that’s just me.
The bees on this forum have great taste and ideas for pairings so it can give you some good thoughts. Because your shank is thick, I would think it will take an in-person visit to the store to see what really will look perfect.

As other bees have said, I would probably go with a plain band. Have you tried on some rings at a jewelry store yet? That should give you a better idea of what you’d like. 🙂

I have tried a couple of things on, no plain bands yet. I only went to one place and they had a decent selection.
I will hit a few more places and try more on 🙂
