Have you tried a few on with your ring? Do they sit flush? Do you mind a gap if there is one?

A plain band is classy but do you want some bling to wear when you can’t wear your e-ring?

maddyboo:  If your hospital are strict enough that they won’t let you wear your e ring i would guess that they’ll stipulate a plain wedding band. Maybe check your policy just to be sure!

I’m a nurse and with all the blood and poop we go through I don’t want to deal with my ring getting anything gross in it or pulling it off with my glove and tossing it accidentally (which happened to a girlfriend of mine). I also wouldn’t let being a nurse dictate what wedding band I got.

If you must wear something at work, I’d get a CZ band or an inexpensive plain white gold or silver band to wear at the hospital and a more formal fancy band (what you actually want) for off duty wear. You can also wear them on a chain as a necklace while on duty, which is what a lot of women do. I also saw a cute idea to get a wishbone necklace and wear the rings on the wishbone. If they require plain, maybe consider an interesting shape, filigree or engraved for more interest.

CarlyMoMarly:  100% agree.  A plain band would be more practical to wear while at work, then a band that really complements your beautiful ering the rest of the time.
