raviolimrs :  also to answer your question about the diamonds looking dull I haven’t found that at all.. I was worried that if my band diamonds were any larger they could compete with my center stone ( But I don’t feel that way now) but I haven’t worried about the pave on the e-ring looking less nice

My wedding band looks to be about twice as thick as my engagement ring. It’s not something I thought about or noticed until now, to be honest. The bands are just a vehicle for the diamonds, haha.

I just got my band in and I love the contrast between the engagement ring and wedding band! I also wanted a thicker band because I plan on wearing it on its own sometimes and like it at this width. It still needs to be sized down a bit though

I love how yours look together! To my eye, it’s perfect.

Mine will be different to each other: I’m using my grandmother’s wedding band – she is still alive, but doesn’t wear hers because it’s far too big after losing weight. It’s a very traditional, plain gold ring from former Yugoslavia in the early 50s, and it’s about 3x the width of my (very narrow) engagement ring band. They are obviously not a ‘set’ but look beautiful together. Go for it, if you love the band, that’s what matters.

Side note: my grandmother’s original wedding ring was made from a dinar coin(s? I need to ask her to elaborate), which was what they did in the village because nobody could afford gold. She said she lost it when my grandfather bought the gold replacement, but god I wish she still had it! I would wear that dinar with so much pride

I think your set looks gorgeous! The band on my e ring is pretty thin, so I really wanted my wedding band to be thicker.

I think your set looks great! Mine is way thicker than my e-ring and I love it! Engagement Ring is a hair under 2mm and the band is 4mm I believe 🙂

My grandmother’s wedding ring is massive, heavy 18k gold, and her ERing is tiny. I wear them together and very often wear the band with my own larger ERing and I always feel happy and comfortable wearing them together.

YOUR set is GORGEOUS together!!!
