missyjz :  I think a thinner wedding band can look beautiful. Not my hand but I hope to do the same thing :).

Mine isn’t thinner but it is smaller in width. I love it. I wear a spacer to keep it from rubbing on the prongs

I had a similar issue. I decided on a wedding band of 3mm, as I wanted to be able to wear it alone if needed. My e ring is 5.5mm at the widest point on its shoulder (band only, excl the setting) and 2mm at thinnest point at its base. Darling Husband had them both custom made from Janai in Melbourne, Australia. They were able to make the wedding band stack perfectly underneath my e ring, which helped with the issue of width. Love them so much. Can’t wait to see what you decide on.

My wedding band and engagement ring are about the same width at the back (2.5mm) but my engagement ring is a split shank so in the front with the split it’s probably more like 4-5mm.
