Pretty! I think the hard part would be trying not to cover up the beautiful side details. For trying to find something to go with it–I don’t know if it would work but I ended up with the Lily wedding band from DoAmore because after trying in tons of bands, it complimented my ering and fits next to it and also stands alone  or without competing when I do wear the engagement ring (which is admittedly not too often).

You might have to go a custom route. It’s suprisingly not that expensive, depending on which jeweler you use. I wanted a band that sat flush with my Engagement Ring, but wasn’t having any luck as my ring is unusual too.

We priced it out at some bigger known stores, and it was going to be $2-3,000 to have it done. Too much! We went back to this small mom and pop type store where he originally purchased the ring, and found out that they do custom work too. For about $1,000 I am getting a custom, half eternity type band that will sit flush with my ring. Because it was the same jeweler, everything will match.

To compare, a non customized ring in the same style was only a couple hundred less if I were to purchase at a big name store.

Don’t be scared to go down the custom route! Might not be as bad as you think!

Gorgeous ring by the way. 🙂

ringstuff:  beautiful ring lady. I would look into curved wishbone rings. Or if you find a local working jeweller you might be able to buy a wide plain band and have then shape/shave one side to sit flush with your ering

ringstuff:  Your ring is definitely NOT “less than”. It is fabulous, fabulous, fabulous! I love the beautiful blue stone and the setting. It’s very detailed and beautiful!

What about a plain, kind of low and thin, half eternity band? that way, it might snuggle up next to your ring without blocking the side details too much. There might be a bit of a gap, but maybe not too much.

I have a half eternity that is about .5TCW. I’ll post a picture to try and help with a visual. Not sure if it would work with your ring or not, but one thing I like about it when I wear it with my anniversary ring is that it’s low enough to sit against the metal part on the shoulders of my ring, instead of hitting against the stones. (hope this makes sense)

I think an eternity or half eternity sapphire ring would look beautiful as a wedding band to go with your unique e-ring!

What about something like this catbird sapphire ring?:
