Hello bees! I adore my emerald cut Ering but now I’m a little stumped on what kind of wedding band to get… I’ve tried bands that are straight and slightly curved to fit the shape of my Ering, both plain and with diamonds, but neither look great. The rings in the store were really big though, so it was hard for me to get a good idea. I would love to see pictures from fellow bees with emerald cut Erings with their wedding bands for a little inspiration!

I have virtually the same ring (very pretty btw ), and I am getting my wedding band custom made. It will be a plain platinum band, the same style as the band on the ering, but with a slight cut out so that it sits flush against the e-ring. I don’t like the gap and figured it was the best way to avoid it.
I went to one jeweller who wanted to trim my ering to make the band sit flush. I ran and didn’t look back!

I have a similar ring (sides are baguettes not emerald cut diamonds), even so the ring I found complimented my centre stone best was a plain white gold 2 mm band. I have added a couple of diamond eternity bands to the look since 2012! In My Humble Opinion go plain and add bling on anniversaries. 😉

What a beautiful ring! My ring is also an emerald with two princess cut stones on the side. I tried on quite a few bands but settled on a curved or chevron cut band. I’ve also seen some brides leave a large gap and do a straight band. Are you planning on having your rings soldered? I know some people have commented that they like having their rings separate so that they have the option of just wearing one without the other.
This is the band I got:
This is my ring and the band together. I’m not having them soldered because I like the slight gap left.

wow, your band and Ering is stunning!! I’ve never seen a wedding band with bagguettes.
At first I didn’t like having a gap but now that I’ve seen some people wearing it with a gap I think it looks really pretty 🙂
Don’t think I’ll solder my rings, I’d like the option of wearing them separately. Thanks for the pic! it really hepls to have a visual 🙂

My e-ring design is a halo, but here it is with the band anyway.

your band is beautiful! (as is your ering 🙂 ) I think I’ll have to get a quote on a wedding band with baguettes 😀

I actually didn’t expect getting a baguette until I tried one on! Fell in love and had one custom made!
