Hello there! I’m looking for a delicate and simple, yet elegant band to match an engagement ring similar to this one? Since the diamond is so big I can’t find a micropave band that I don’t think is over the top with the engagement ring, but since the engagement ring’s band is “plain” I think it might be weird to have two “plain” bands?? Input is appreciated!

I love the look of my plain band and the plain bands of other Bees. Their durability is unmatched, which is important for a wedding band since most people don’t remove it. Also you can always add a diamond pave ring as an eternity ring at a later date.

I bought a plain band and had tiny diamonds and sapphires punched into it. It means it’s more interesting than a plain band but still as flat as one so doesn’t interfere with my e ring. You could do something similar

I don’t really have advice on a wedding band but I just wanted to say i adore your ring. if not yours, then I have your ring twin saved on my Pinterest board. LOVE IT.

I am having a similar problem. The designer of my ring hand forges everything, so he can make the bands thinner than average because there are not bubbles formed in the metal that make bands more susceptible to breaking. I plan on having him make me a thin pave band like this that won’t detract from my ring. It is 1.8 mm thick, which is the same as the shank on my ring and it is very dainty.
He also makes one like this that might work better with the shape of that ring, depending if you want a more prominent gap or not.
Steven Kirsch is the designer and he was GREAT to work with but anyone who hand forges would be able to do it!

Absolutely stunning ring! I think a plain band would look beautiful with it. If you didn’t want to go totally plain, you could try something like this (I think a PP mentioned something similar to this, but my band only has diamonds).
