Maybe you could post your e-ring so people can suggest what they would imagine with it? Some bees here have pretty good taste and ring shopping experience!

Dude i didn’t find something i liked until like, 2 weeks before the wedding. Darling Husband picked up our wedding bands FRIDAY. Yep, the day of the rehearsal dinner. We got married the next day.

I found what I wanted by listening to a friend. We were goofing off and she said, “omg put these on!” and i did and was like “wait…i like this…holy crap i like it!”

Be open to EVERYTHING. You never know what you’ll like. First i wanted a plain band, then i wanted a 5-stone 1.5 carat anniversary band, then i settled on two 3/4 carat half eternity bands. And if you’d told me they’d have round diamonds in them, i’d have laughed at you. But yep, they do.

You say you can’t have stones in your hand does that mean you won’t wear them as a set, therefore need a band that will look good on it’s own and that has no stone?

The boy wanted a super, super simple band, and we finally found one by an artist that a local shop carried: http://www.carlacarusojewelry.com/

Looks like there’s a shop in Austin that carries her stuff too. Her bands are simple, but there are a number of options that mix it up a little bit with engraving, small stones flush with the band, etc. (Of course Fiance insisted on absolutely none of that, but we compromised on mine having some “bling” and his being the same band but without anything at all on it.) Most of the samples on her website are matte yellow gold, but she works in other metals and polished gold, too. We actually decided we liked the matte yellow best in the end anyway though (after starting out sure that was the one metal we wouldn’t even look at!)
