For my current set they stayed the same because they are both on the thinner side and my ering is loose when worn on its own. I also stayed the same size with my other set, but I’ll be honest and say that I wish I would have gone up about a quarter or half size(i still might). The shanks are each 2.6mm, so when my hands swell from summer heat I get a little bit of finger muffin top.

Your shank is pretty thin as well, so this would depend on the width of the wedding band your getting. If you stay around 2.5mm, you probably could go with the same size as long as your ering isnt tight worn alone. Do you have your band picked out?

I sized up half a size. My fingers swell like crazy and I hate tight rings! It’s much more comfortable now.

Mrs.Fay posted.  I stack 2 wedding bands so the extra half size makes it feel more comfortable.

Same size, but my rings are all worn a bit loose to begin with (my preference and because of knuckle).

If your bands are rather thin, and/or you wear your rings with a gap, you can likely get away with same size if the one you have fits most of the time. If adding a band is going to add a lot of width, or you are adding multiple bands, you may want to go up a bit in one or both (1/4-1/2 size depending). Some people choose to wear the ering a bit snugger to secure a slightly looser band on. Everyone’s fingers are different though…sort of depends on your finger…like knuckles, shape, what your fat pad under knuckle is like.

I am a size 7.5 ring.. However I’m very sensitive to heat and my hands can swell up a half size, so my ering was sized to an 8. It by noo means is so big that it’s falling off. It’s comfortable.

Mine is the same size for my 5 stone ring, but my eternity band is a little bigger in case my fingers swell, and it is worn on the inside so the e-ring holds it on my finger and being an eternity band it doesn’t matter if it spins.

BrittyBee:  my e ring is a 7,and I sized up to a 7.25 for my wedding band and spacer ring. I tend to get a lot of swelling in my hands, so th at why. But like right now, my rings are spinning like crazy. I’d rather have a little loose when my fingers are normal than always having them snug. That’s just me though 😉

I went down a 1/4 size on my band. Well, I guess I should say I sized up 1/4 size on my ering.  My ering sits on the fleshy part of my finger when both rings are worn together. My band is a 7.5 and my ering is a 7.25. In the winter they are super loose. But right now, in the heat of summer and humidity in Alabama, they are sometimes too tight to even wear. And the jeweler actually sized me to a 7. I tried a 7.25 but felt like I was suffocating.
