I don’t have a split shank but yours will probably have to be curved if you don’t want a gap?

Our rings are similar. My engagement ring is a cathedral setting so it’s rather high and I could’ve chosen a variety of bands but I fell in love with a simple pave band. And it’s not curved, btw — I wanted to have the option to wear my band by itself and not look weird.

It would probably depend on how high your setting is and if you want a gap or not. mine is not a halo, but is split shank and here it is with the band we chose. it is a curved band and I like the small gap And how it curves around my center stone

The first one is my new set and the second pic is my stack.

hayleychristine:  how high is your setting? Do you mind a gap? I think a straight twisty band or a pave band would be beatiful.

I have two bands, one on each side. I actually wear a third larger eternity band as well.

hayleychristine:  Thank you! I’m a little obsessed with it. We had it made by the same jeweler who made my engagement ring setting, but beforehand we did try on several bands at a jewelry store, so you may be able to find something thin if you look around. Word of warning, though — if we’d bought it at a store, it would’ve been twice the cost of having it made, so if you’re comfortable with the idea of a custom jeweler, I highly recommend that route! You’ll get exactly what you want and for us it was way cheaper.
