I find they look good together. But perhaps a different band would look better? Your e-ring has a thin shank, and is covered with stones…perhaps a thin diamond band would look better? You can always keep the metal band to wear alone at times. My wedding band is soldered to my e-ring so I have a separate band to wear alone (with stones though 😉
Love the composite center feature on your ring. The stones are so white!! I would personally prefer a slightly contoured band, because I love them 🙂

@Christina0828: I think the plain band matches the ering because it doesn’t take anything away from it. I also really love the love heart detail on the side of your ering, too cute!!!
And yay kitty! S/he got on the bee 😉

@Christina0828: I think it looks great. It doesn’t compete with or take away from the e-ring. A slightly thinner band might look even better.

@Christina0828: I designed mine to have hearts on the side! But I like yours with the stones!!

@Scintillante: I mean as long as they look good, I’m of course satisfied. But I pondered a matching band as well. I looked at all different websites, different styles, thought about a custom band, too. But Fiance and I decided on this. I love it, but just because it’s my first set, you know? I’m in awe and so excited to be getting married, I may overlook if they actually even look good together. But so far, so good! And thank you for the compliment 🙂
@krayzay87: Yay for kitty! She’s a fat loaf, short and 9 pounds lol. As for my ring, thank you! And I definitely wanted to be able to tell I have two separate rings, so I’m glad that has worked out.
@BluePeaches: Thank you! Glad it doesn’t take away, which is what I initially wanted. I thought about a thinner band as well, but Fiance insisted on this one 🙂
@wrkbrk: Oh how unique! I’ve learned to love anything hearts, so your ring is fab, especially since you helped design! 🙂

I really like it. Very unique, yet timeless.

Sorry, I know you already have the band, but I agree with PPs that a thinner band (like 2mm) would look better. What are your FI’s objections to a thinner band?

@mrsromo: Thank you!
@tallierand: I asked him the same. I told him since I have such a thin band to start, a 2mm will look fine. He just said he thinks 2mm is too thin, and seems flimsy to him, that he’d feel much better if i had 3mm. So we went with the 3. Thank you for commenting.

I think they look great together and the band will look outstanding if you decide to wear it by itself. You can always buy something with a little more bling later on. I have more than one band and I love switching them out for a different look.

I like it! They both shine on their own, and i like the way they look together. The side heart is really pretty
Have you considered a small spacer band, so they would sit more flush/together?
