I went to a bridal show and got the same gift card…but shipping was $50 for me. Maybe because my ring size is a 3?

Anyway, all of the rings on that website are tungsten carbide…which is very heavy. I already will be picking out my wedding bad to match my e-ring, and my FI already has a band he currently wears…but we are getting a nicer band for him for the ceremony. We figured for $50 shipping, we’re still getting 2 wedding bands. We will probably wear them whenever we do things like go boating on the lake or partake in activities where I don’t want to wear my nice ring.

I actually ordered last week, but I’m pretty sure it’s legit. Tungsten carbide is actually really cheap. The only benefit is that it’s super durable and can withstand a LOT of wear and tear.

I went to a bridal show, and lucked upon this deal too. They just called me today, and the meeting is this wednesday. We’re getting the JVL wedding rings, and some crystal toasting flutes. BUT! I’m just wondering about the honeymoon deal, is it legit? Have any of you tried it? They said there are two different packages to choose from 1) A three day/two night all inclusive honeymoon to Dominican Repulic, Bahammas, or Mexico. Just pay airfair. OR 2) three day/two night stay at any wyndham resort but you pay for airfair and everything else.

I’m just wondering because I know wyndham is a REALLY nice resort (my aunt has a timeshare with them) maybe that’s why they’re only paying for your room, and nothing else? And I’m kinda scared to see what this ‘out of the country’ honeymoon will be like!?!

Well… I read some reviews online, and heard that, tho it was legit, it is NOT the same as wyndham in other places. Lots of rude people and such. I don’t know if we’re gonna do it :S It’s still going to be expensive…

They told me it was including room, food, and alcohol as much as you want.

Online it said the alcohol is watered down ( not a problem for us because we dont’ really drink that much) and that they try to get you drunk to sign on for a timeshare contract :S

Idk sounds kinda like I’d rather not go.

the flutes are from celebrity china. you sit through an hour long presentation where they try to talk you into fancy pans and dishes (dont get me wrong they are really nice just really $$$$$$) and the honey moon is for a timeshare and you have to listen to them ramble. if you like sitting through crap then go for it and let me know how it turns out.

I ordered my FI’s ring from there with the same promotion on Sat and received it today.  It is a lot nicer looking than i expected.

Yes, JVL is legit. I found them through this thread. They also offer engraving at $40 a piece or $70 for the set. I chose to just do one, but they called me after I placed my order to see if I wanted to include the 2nd for $20. I declined, but they engraved mine anyway for free!

Probably should have gotten my e-ring cleaned before I attempted to take pictures of it 😛 (The two bands are from JVL, not my e-ring.)

@kimbee23: Ohhh, I LOVE all three rings! The engraving is so sweet/cute! How does your e-ring look with the band? 🙂

I think they go great together! My e-ring is titanium (allergic to gold and silver, and personally I like the look of titanium better) so it isn’t too big of a color difference. The w-ring is brushed, so at first I wasn’t sure, but it works and I’m happy with it!

THIS IS A VERY BAD COMPANY!!!  THEIR RINGS DO NOT LOOK ANYTHING LIKE THEIR WEBSITE PICTURES. THEY COME TO YOU A HORRIBLE DARK GRAY. I AM HEARTBROKEN AFTER CONTACTING THE COMPANY AND BEING TOLD THAT I CANNOT GET A REFUND. THE RING LOOKS ABSOLUTELY AWFUL NEXT TO MY WHITE GOLD E-RING. SO MUCH FOR THEIR 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE.

WE HAVE TO KEEP MY FUTURE HUSBANDS RING AS WE CAN’T AFFORD TO REPLACE BOTH.

THIS COMPANY PREYS ON YOUNG COUPLES.

BAD, BAD, BAD COMPANY!!!   BUYER BEWARE. IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT ALWAYS IS.

IF I CAN SAVE ONE OTHER COUPLE FROM THIS DISASTEROUS EXPERIENCE BY WRITING THIS REVIEW I WILL BE HAPPY.

@LEROWE: it sounds like you just didn’t do your research. the company sells tungsten carbide rings, not white gold. tungsten carbide is naturally a dark gray color, so it will never match a white gold ring. i am very sorry that the ring didn’t meet your expectations, but i don’t think you should give this company a bad name. their rings are exactly like any tungsten carbide ring you would get at a jewelry store, and are very high quality. did you pay the full price for a ring, or just the $25?

@Lerowe :  This is a great company to bad you had a bad experience.  But they have an excellent way of helping out brides in this difficult time as the economy is bad.  And all the reviews Ive read have been nothing but great.  Your going as far as this?  Besides your complaining over a free ring that all you paid for is S&H which everyone knows that is never refundable. I give you a thumbs down!

@Lerowe-I think it is a bit much to say that JVL preys on young couples. As someone with allergies to gold and silver, JVL was great for me. Finding alternatives to the mainstream is not easy, and JVL offers a product that I can wear. They state all over their website that it is tungsten. They are not a bad company, you just had a bad experience. I am more than happy with the service and the products that I received.
