I sent for one and when it arrived it was a dark grey colour,  and living in UK they charged me double the postage what you US  girls pay, i paid $50.  i paid PAYPAL  and    complained it was significantly not as described,  i got a refund and didnt have to return the ring,  but i will never use it.  so its up for grabs for free is anyone wants it!  size 6.5,  3mm wide……just pay the p/p  and i will send it to you.  ($15)

Personally,  if this was the only ring i was allowed to have,  i would not bother,  i would just wear my E ring without a wedding band.  thats how much i dont like it.

@kimbee23:

Yes i agree to a certain extent,  that they DO  state its Tungsten,  but the  pictures on their website show a shiney silvery colour and this is just not a true representation of what the ring really looks like.  they say there is differences in monitor settings  etc,  but i believe they COULD  show the real colour but intend not to,  so that these rings can be sold quickly. they get away with not refunding because the item was free,  and you rarely get a refund on postage….unless you pay by PAYPAL  .  its a con.

I got roped into this too and ultimately did NOT go. I looked into the company and felt that a couple of rings, made of carbide does not appeal to me, even if their supposed retail is $299 each. Three nights in a hotel was not enough for me either, especially since they were telling me I had to show up WITH my fiance on a TUESDAY night 40 miles away from my home to claim my prizes. NO thanks!

@SoonToBeMrsWilson: Yes, i have gotten my free wedding band gift card, so far it seems to be on the up and up. Spent $ 50.00 for the shipping. But it was only $ 25.00 per ring. I waiting for my rings to come in.

@LEROWE I’m with everyone else, mabey you should have done your reserch. I got a call that I won my choice of rings from JVL or a vacation. My Fiance and I chose the rings. The only bad thing is we had to sit through a cooking demo, and we had to drive 30 miles to lexington (only because we live in small town). I orderd them today. I only had to pay the shipping and engraving. We plan to use them as our only wedding bands. He does factory work and has alredy ruined his wedding bad from his first marrige, so we needed something stong. I love the fact that they have him and hers. Next time do your reserch!

I love tungsten. It looks nothing like white gold but its not supposed to. The only issue I have with jvl is that you can buy tungsten rings for much much less. FI’s was £50 ($30?) given that everything is cheaper in the US the $25 shipping probably covers most of the cost of the ring XD

SoonToBeMrsWilson :

Hi, I bought 2 rings from them with the same promotion. I paid 50$ for the shipping and received the rings. They looked ok but even if you pay only 25$ per ring, it is NOT a good deal. The metal they use is very poor quality! Our rings had scratches all over after only 3 weeks wearing them and titanium is supposed to be a very hard metal… and if you don’t pay for the customized engraving, your ring will have JVL Titanium or Tungsten written in it. Plus, the website tells you the products are garanteed but you have to pay an extra 35$ per ring to get that warranty…

Don’t buy from them, don’t waste your money on crappy rings

I bought a wedding band for my (future) wife from JVL and it arrived quickly. The rings was met my expectations. More importantly, she loved it when she saw it. A great low cost alternative — I will probably go with JVL for my wedding band if I decide to wear a metal ring.
