We recently looked and purchased our wedding bands. My fiance made his choice in ten minutes, i wish i was as descisive as he. He actually purchased two, we are calling it his engagement ring…and he loves them both. i recently changed my diamond and ultimately the box to hold the larger diamond, which turned out to be quite fortuitous since they also lifted it up so a wedding band woud fit snugly. i had a melt down with that because they had to destruct my ering…anyway very emotional time right now and im usually not emotional at all. So, after two weeks to think over the wedding band i went with a slightly larger band and diamonds, rather than an exact match which would have had the crescents in the profile of e ring to match my ering. Now i am wondering if I made the right choice. the price was the same. The exact match would have been the same width as my ering band and it never would have looked good alone, but i also dont plan on ever taking off my ering anyway. I also thought i could get the match for an anniversary ring if i still want it later, but this is made by the jeweler so I am not sure how long they will be arount to make it. I am second guessing my decison for that reason, pretty much. My fiance didnt help, he wanted me to have whatever I wanted but I think he really wanted the exact match. I know I am obssessing, but what do you think? thanks bees in advance! Pics to come

Both rings would be half way around. It was hard to decide because they did not have then exact match to show me only similar Tacori version which had a thicker band than it would be. The Tacori was out because it was much more money. So, if you can imagine the Tacori but thinner. The Tacori is on the pointer, the one i chose on the ring finger and the middle had side stones but they were not crescents so it was out. Also, you cant really see the stones since it will be looking up at me, my erings side stones that face out still be visible outwardly.

@Star66: I’m confused you don’t like the look bc the diamonds in your wedding band are larger?

I personnaly love when the wedding band is wider than the band on the e-ring. Your set is gorgeous!!! The wedding band can stand out on its own a little.
Definitely a good decision 😉 And as you said, that band will look great on its own. There are times when I feel like dressing down and just wear my wedding band (which is a separate band altogether since my contour band will be soldered to my e-ring).

I think your set is beautiful!
As someone who chose her own rings and center stone and who still sometimes experiences “ring regret” regarding both my e-ring setting and my center diamond, I can tell you that it’s very difficult to be content and confident when there are SO many options. Whichever of those rings you would have chosen would have been beautiful with your e-ring, but it’s quite likely that you would still be questioning your decision.

At first thought, I was thinking they should be the same size (since when I tried on bands, I thought a larger band looked funny – I have prong set bands), but I actually really like your set with a larger band! Bonus for it being wider and looking good on its own even though you dont plan on not wearing the e-ring. I said the same thing, but there has been occasions where I was on travel to countries that I didnt want to wear my e-ring and I only wore my w-band.
