I am interested in an eternity band that I hope will match my engagement ring. The eternity band is from overstock.com. Has anyone bought jewelry like this from overstock.com? If not, do you recommend another places or websites… I live in L.A. Anyone have any luck with the L.A. Jewelry Mart?

my step-dad has amazing connections with a jeweler in the L.A. jewelry distract. She made me the most fantastic custom diamond and aquamarine necklace for my 21st. I don’t have her name off-hand but I will be sure to return to this thread tomorrow to let you know!

I live in AZ, but all of my family lives in CA, the LA area, and rants and raves about the Jewelry Mart…so I figured I’d check it out while I was looking for my bands. Advice? Have SPECIFIC jewelers you are going to. We just drove down there, parked in a $5 all day garage, and then stood there, and had no idea where to go! Do your research and find jewelers that have been recommended or that you have researched on. (Wish I could give you some but didn’t find any that ‘wowed’ me) Also…take PICTURES of what you are looking for! There is so much there that is you just start verbally describing, they run off to grab what they think you are talking about…and then you’re there waiting!
Good luck and have fun!!! 🙂

My e-ring is from overstock… my band was going to be from there too, but we found a similar one for cheaper elsewhere. I’m very happy with the ring and its quality… and they have great customer service too. I don’t really know much about jewelry and I’m sure that there are much higher-quality rings out there but there isn’t anything wrong per se with the rings on overstock. 🙂

I live in LA too and we wanted an eternity band.. unfortunately the prices downtown were around $600 .. a little more than we wanted to pay. I ended up ordering this band from Amazon on Valentine’s day and I LOVE IT
The quality is great, shipping was super fast.. it’s beautiful, here are a few pix of it and the link!

I think Miss Fro Yo (or was it Mrs Beagle? Can’t remember) ordered her band from Amazon and was very happy with it (and got a great price as well!) I think overstock, from what I’ve heard, has good quality jewelry and a good return policy, so you should be fine!
