I should probably have a curved band with mine as well because of the prongs on my e ring, but this wedding band sits close enough that you can’t even tell. Cushion cut e ring with baguette and princess band.

i found that a straight ring left too big of a gap,  and also a curved ring was not quite right either,  i chose this ring as it seemed to have just the perfect little dip for my E ring to sit in.  my E ring isnt a solitaire as such,  its a cluster,  but its in the style of a solitaire……if that makes any sense???

I love my princess cut solitare! I choose a plain band. I was worried it would look too plain but I think it looks classic. besides it sounds bad but i wanted a big rock. so I rationalized that id rather save money on the band and put it into the solitare:)

@luli29: That is beautiful! Is that scattered diamonds on your band? 🙂

I soooo am going to have your set…just blue diamonds! Also…I stole an idea off of here and will have my FH and my birthstones in it as well 😉

@Pupperoni:  When I wear my band (curved) alone… I just turn it around backwards so it looks like a plain white gold band since the back is straight 🙂

I agree I’m having the same problem. Who would have thought it would be so difficult!! I have an asscher cut solitare set low. So far the best that I’ve found is the tiffany grace wedding band. I never thought I’d pick a channel set band but it compliments my ring the best.
