I couldn’t decide if I liked the wedding bands with alot of diamonds or plain band with no diamond. Then I came across this picture where the diamonds are spaced far apart. Curious to see pics of people who have bands similar to this coupled with a solitaire engagement ring.

I have a gypsy set in platinum for my wedding band, its 4mm wide and the ering is 2mm. 5 weeks till I can wear it always!

This band style is typically called Scattered diamond band, etolie style, gypsy set diamond band, or flush set diamond band. Just thought I’d let you know so you would have an easier time with searching.

Question for you both- I think this ring style is exquisite, and it would work with my solitaire, but I can’t tell from the picture- how are the stones set?
I have a rolling ring that’s set with very tiny faceted diamonds and I’ve never lost a stone, but these diamonds are obviously larger, so I’d want to be sure the setting was very secure.
( Thank you for your additional description, MrsSparkleBee!)

They are very secure…they are burnish set, basically ends up being like small bezels around each stone. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stonesetting#Burnish_setting
OP: My old band is similar to MrsBuesleBeesme and my old engagement ring had a band like that too. I love these kind of settings. I have yellow gold bands now with different coloured diamonds (white, champagne, cognac) set irregularly around the ring. I can post some pics to this thread later of both sets..don’t have the photos on my iPad!
ETA: Back with photos!
Old rings with scattered bands (unplated 18k white gold palladium alloy):
New rings with irregularly scattered bands – different than what you are looking at, but shows how much I love these kind of burnished/flushset bands:

The diamomds in the band are really secure. The top of the stones are set flush with the band. Beautiful choice, OP!

Mrs.Fay & RayKay – Is that a matte/satin finish on the yellow gold on your rings?
Mine isn’t. Sorry, just regular 14k
The yellow gold ones are brushed gold.

Whiteflash makes them custom with different mms and metals and I’m sure finishes. I think they call it the scattered diamond band, all reasonably priced.
Just remembered I tried this too- the Tiffany bezet. Mine (above) is the Etoile

happygirl2016: my wedding ring is just like this. I adore it. It’s a 2.2mm platinum band with 12 equally spaced diamonds
