I am in the process looking for wedding bands and came across these two that I am considering. I am more leaning towards the five stone one because the width of the ring is same as my engagement ring and I like how the diamond stands out, but I want to get some opinions from others because I read and heard that five stone rings are more for anniversaries?
Which one you think would go better with my engagement ring?

Have you actually tried either style on with your ring, or just looked at pictures? That can make all the difference.
From the photos, I think they’d both be beautiful, but IMO eternity bands/half eternity bands usually look better with solitaires. But that’s just my preference. Go with what you love!

I like the 14 stone ring because it is more subdued and will allow your ering to stand out. You can use any kind of ring you want as a wedding band. Doesn’t matter about the 5 year anniversary tradition. I wonder if the 5 band ring will fit flush against your ering. The diamonds may compete. There may be a gap. You may want to consider that.

I love eternity rings with a solitaire

Eternity ring for sure, the smaller diamonds will add bling but not detract from your pretty solitaire!

Personally I like the 14 diamond one better, but you should pick what you like best. If I saw someone wearing a five stone ring on their left ring finger, I would assume it was a wedding band. I wouldn’t think it is an anniversary ring. I agree with the poster that suggested trying it on with your ring. That should help you decide. Also think about which you’d like best if you weren’t wearing your engagement ring. I love both my engagement ring and wedding band when worn together, but I love the look of the wedding band by itself. I plan to wear them together for the most part, but when I’m playing sports or things where the engagement ring is a little bulky, I’m stoked to be able to wear just the band.

I like the 5 stone one, I think it’s more unique!

love the eternity band!! if you really like the five stone how about switching the engagement ring to the right hand and wearing the five stone as a single wedding band.

On an entirely different note – will it bother you if the bands don’t sit flush? I was chatting with a friend who has a solitaire, and she was saying how much it bugged her that she had to shave a prong, just so they’d sit flush.
As for the two – I personally like the look of the 5-stone, but you can’t really go wrong!

Both work, it’s about your preference– go try some on. It’s great fun and trying them on is free. Then you have a better idea what you really love when you buy it.

I really like the look of eternity rings with solitaires. But, if you love the 5 stone, you should absolutely go that route. I don’t think they are only for anniversaries!

I agree with 2ndtime and Melanie422.
The 14 diamond ring will beautifully accentuate (and not detract from) your e-ring. This diamond band offers the right amount of bling and lends a nice, bright and clean effect. Your beautiful solitaire will stand out perfectly…
