Hey bees! 🙂 Being the compulsively organized teacher that I am … I want to start a wedding binder. I have looked at two friends binders, and they each did such a different layout that I’m torn! Friend #1 organized her binder by items such as: dress, reception, flowers, favors, etc. And included inspiration pictures in each section, with vendor information/quotes at the back of the binder in plastic sleeves. Friend #2 organized her vendors/quotes throughout the binder by categories: Reception, Ceremony, Flowers, Music, Bridesmaid dresses, DOCs, Rehearsal Dinner, etc. It was less of an inspiration book and more of a collection of vendors, dates, and timelines.
Do you have a binder? How is it organized (what tabs?)? What are you including in the binder?

I have a binder and it kind of serves as both of those options. I have some inspiration and all of my vendors. I bought it at barns and noble! If you are having a hard time settling on one you might want to just get a premade one! Just a thought!

I had a binder and then when I got my iPad did a virtual version. I have a hybrid of the 2. At the front of the tab is my inspiration pics and behind those pics are my details, spreadsheets, and timelines. Hope this helps!

I have a binder and it is divided as follows:
*Appointments (with printouts of the emails/notes confirming appointments)
*Vendors (contracted already)
*Wedding Dress (day of look)

I have a binder and it is very much the second one. I started with a premade binder that was more of an “ideas” set-up, but as I got closer to the wedding, I decided I didn’t need anymore ideas (too overwhelming after awhile, you feel the need to do everything), what I needed was action! So my binder has fabric swatches and a couple photos of my mock centerpieces and decor items, but it’s mainly a place to organize vendors and documents.
I also had a speadsheet saved on a thumb drive. but that is more for my ongoing items.

I plan on organizing my binder by categories and have sub-tabs for each specific item or vender that way I can refer back to each aspect of the wedding and see what I still have to do for each! but thats kind of how my mind works..
I also got dividers with folder pockets for things i didn’t want to punch 🙂
