I recently got Pinterest and love it. Ever since then, I have been pretty active in posting to my wedding inspiration board! Reading through some posts on here, I know some girls don’t want people IRL to find them on Weddingbee as it may spills the beans on their wedding plans. I was wondering if the same viewpoint is taken with posting to Pinterest? It is connected to my Facebook page, so all my friends who have it can see all my boards. I actually don’t care if people can see my ideas as the whole point is to share ideas, right? But should I be more careful in posting my ideas to Pinterest? Am I revealing my whole wedding before it even happens, lol?
Thanks for the opinions!

I probably wouldn’t go posting anything to specific.. like your dress if you don’t want everyone to see. I’ve been pinning tons of stuff. Stuff I want to use for my wedding and stuff I just think is cool. In the end your wedding will probably be very different from your wedding board, so I wouldn’t be too worried about it. It is about sharing ideas… so share!

I try not to post anything about what my “bridal look” will be, or anything else too specific, but I dont doubt that my guests will know what style wedding they are about to attend if they see my pinterest.
man, how lucky are we that pinterest came about during our planning? If it came out next year i’d be so bummed! I’ve found bazillions of awesome ideas there.

@MrsNerdy: Yes, I absolutely love it! It is a great way to keep my ideas organized!
I won’t be posting anything specific idea, but if you look at my board you can probably tell I am going for an outdoor wedding with a soft color palette filled with lanterns and lights 🙂 and I will most likely have my hair in a bun with a mermaid style dress possibly in lace. Oooh, maybe that’s too much details!!
Maybe I should consider privating some stuff, if there is a way lol
