The price for your wedding coordinator seems high $2250, is she doing more than your wedding day? The itemized $$ that I don’t see are…

  • tipping vendors
  • transportation
  • gifting wedding party
  • ceremony reception decor

Even though I don’t see the above on your list I do feel that $24,500 is a good budget for a wedding Laughing

The price for your alcohol is way too low.

I’d also guess your photographer price is too low, but it depends on what you’re going for.

I also think that you have a very good amount for a budget. Some of those figures may need adjusting when you get more into it, but overall it looks good. I don’t see anything set aside for your gown or your Fiance attire though.

Things you may want to include: the dress, tux rentals, wedding bands, honeymoon, other decorations (if you plan on having any), transportation, ceremony and reception venue rental fees, officiant/marriage license fees, etc.  Depending on where your wedding is you may have to rent a dance floor or tents or any electronic equipment for video/sound for speeches (your DJ may be able to provide this).

I am not sure what you mean by Rev…but in terms of Alcohol – if this is just buying the alcohol in bulk ahead of time, you are probably ok there, but if this is supposed to be for drinks, it will likely end up being much higher.  I see there is some kind of bar included with your caterer so the alcohol thing is a bit confusing for me.

Other than that…the prices for photog and videog will depend on what type of photo/video coverage you want, so your budget seems ok for basic coverage (although prices where you are may be different than here!).

I think everything else seems reasonable to me…$25,000 is a good sized budget for 130 people.

Thats a pretty good size budget, but like Jackie-o said, there are some things missing. Also do you already have a photog in mind? It may suprise you how pricey they can be.

I agree some shifting will happen (aka DJ $$ into Photo $$).  I noticed that some figures are exact…does this mean you have hard prices?  Are all of your prices firm or just estimates?

We are only having beer, wine, and champagne, and we will be purchasing it ourselves. We have budgeted $300.00 for 50 guests. We have also price checked, and our budget is about right, so I think yours is fine.

Did anyone list hair for the wedding and pre wedding pampering, as well as makeup and hair trials…

I am paying $1,00.00 for a full service coordinator; that is with a huge discount because we are also friends. I could have gone with a lower package and she did encourage me to do so, but I knew I would have lots and lots of questions and appreciate her contacting vendors for me, so I got the full package. I am happy that I did because she will handle tough situations for me, so I don’t have to. I think that $1,250.00 is totally worth it for your peace of mind.

Jeesh! I wish I could spent that much!, My budget is $6000, near impossible!

You’re missing reception and ceremony venue rental, tipping, decorations, and wedding party gifts.
