A pasta salad of some kind? Does the gazebo have any kind of outlet? You could do a regular pasta if you could warm it up a little before?

cold pizza, or quiche, pavlova – I love pavlova!

Mmn, I second quiche. Mini quiche. Mini pie. Mini tart. Mini yum. Some with smoked salmon or trout, spinach and ricotta, egg and bacon, pumpkin with fetta, so many possible combinations.

I’m also a fan of yummy antipasto-type things that require minimal set up, you just spread them out to make them look fancy. Good ham, salami, pancetta, mortadella, flat breads, dips, a few different cheeses, olives, semi-dried tomato etc.

If you wanted something fancier than cold pizza, you could make things with pre-bought puff pastry. I like the look of these asparagus, cheese & tomato tarts. So so fast and easy to make things like that, you just chop up the stuff, throw it on and put it in the oven. If you’re worried about how the pastry will hold up, with a bit more effort you can do the same on pizza dough (or with little effort some sliced foaccia or sourdough).

And don’t forget pigs in a blanket, for the name if nothing else!
