@lisaelanna Your cake looks beautiful.  I would never be able to make something like that and it really sounds delicious. 

I don’t have my cake yet since we’re not getting married until June, but it’s going to be a traditional round 4 tiered cake with Vanilla Swiss Meringue Frosting.  The cake will have sugar pink cherry blossoms cascading down the side with a thin black ribbon on the bottom edge of each layer. 

Since we had so many tiers I got to pick different flavors for each one so we went with Almond, Manderin Orange and and Chocolae.  The top tier is going to be almond with a rasberry jam filing.  I wish we could’ve had the filing for the entire cake, but adding that to the entire cake would’ve been ridiculously too expensive.

our wedding cake is vanilla cake with white chocolate mousse and fresh raspberry filling….the sample was so yummy, can’t wait for the actual cake!!

We chose out of the box flavors. The bottom tier was strawberry, middle was caramel nut, and the top was a rosewater. I don’t really remember the filling flavors, but it was deliciousl We also had mini cupcakes in more traditional flavors.

My wedding cake will be a white cake with buttercream and the groom’s cake will be chocolate fudge with buttercream ๐Ÿ™‚

This will be my cake but with hotpink ribbon, black swirls, on a silver stand and the flowers will be hotpink dark eyed gerbas.


 We have yet to decide on flavors but a marble or tuxedo will be a must, and I really think I want a banana for myself on the smallest tier with chocolate filling (I don’t think many would like it but its my day! haha)

Ours was a banana cake with bavarian cream filling. I too wish I had eaten more than the tiny bite my Darling Husband fed me. We should have cut a larger slide. UGH!

The tasting was DIVINE and can’t wait to eat more! She gave us a FULL cake (the size of the top layer) with 8 different options… GENIUS!

  • banana with bavarian cream filling
  • almond with bavarian cream filling
  • hazelnut with chocolate whipped cream filling
  • lemon with mango cream filling

FH loved the almond so much that his groom’s cake will also be that flavor. I love the fact that it looks like regular cake flavors, but packs so much unexpected flavor.

Mine will be two layers of red velvet/ cream cheese frosting and a layer of vanilla with raspberry filling. We are doing a beach wedding so the cake has beach details like seashells and coral. Our “cake topper” is two seashells with our initals hand painted on.

We are planning on Banana split cake

chocolate, strawberry and vanilla cake layers with pineapple and banana filling. W can’t decide on flavored butter cream fillings or flavored cream cheese fillings. Iced in butter cream with a hint of marshmallow flavor.

We’re doing red velvet & cream cheese pound cake w/ cream cheese frosting

We’re doing a small cake for cutting (like above) and sheet cakes to serve.
