It doesn’t matter at all – white and ivory look beautiful together. Get the cake you want:)

I don’t think it matters at all! My dress is ice white and our cake will be somewhat ivory because we are having buttercream instead of fondant. I highly doubt people will be analyzing the shade difference between the cake and your dress. If anyone notices, who cares? 🙂

doesn’t matter!  No one will care that your dress is ivory and your cake design is white, it doesn’t have to match!

Your dress & cake can both be white — it doesn’t matter at all!!

If it is actually bugging you about the color on color — then speak to your baker they can totally tint the frosting a touch so it won’t appear so white next to your dress — like antique lace.  Or they can mix in some pearl shimmer so it looks different up close but it won’t affect your design at all .

Hope This Helps.

Your cake can be what ever your heart desires! My cake is a little off the top its going to be three layers of black and white diamond shapes with red roses in between. So I really wouldn’t worry about white and ivory it probably won’t show up too much anyway.

It doesn’t matter. In order to give an ivory touch to your white wedding cake, you can add as a decoration some ivory flowers. It could be spray roses, or minicallas. This would add a unique touch to your cake. I got some beautiful white spray roses and minicallas from Fiftyflowers.com and I’m sure they have also available in ivory colors. I suggest you to take a look at Fiftyflowers. They are great!
