loving this wedding cake stand from The Roche Studio- (i love her Etsy shop! http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheRocheStudio)
it’s a bit pricey but I think it’s worth it- this is the most beautiful 16″ cake stand I’ve ever seen…..I would’ve used this in my wedding……
i love her vintage website too!

That is super easy to make. I made 10 cake stands that look just like that from thrift store finds for under 20 bucks total 🙂 No need to spend $200, I certianlly wouldn’t!

I agree, that can be done for way less.
Get a nice depression glass goblet and use craft/ceramic glue to hold a plate on it.
My cousin makes little things like this for her parties and they’re cute. Super cheap too

but I don’t think you can get that awesome base from the thrift shop 🙂

Fiance and I were in an antique store today and saw several goblets that looked similar for FAR cheaper that could be used to make this! There’s tons of tutorials all over WB and the web on how to make a cake stand like this, too. I agree with the PPs, $200 is way too much for that.

As long as you are happy with your purchase, awesome!
But to me, Etsy is WAY over priced. I get that it’s homemade or DIY but man, some of them sellers rip people off BADLY.
I was going to order something from one seller, a simple cake topper. But once she told me $175 I was back to looking at other options.
