I think that candy buffets have been pretty popular with some of the Bees, so that would be a good resource for you.  I think that chinese take out boxes would be so cute as a way for guests to package the candy.

Hi, this is my first time doing this so please bear with me – my daughter is getting married in December and she is also doing a candy buffet – she wanted this to be fun so she did not use her wedding colors (Winter Wonderland). We asked everyone in the bridal party what their favourite candy was and that is what "their" jar will hold. We are buying all our candy at the "Bulk Barn"

If you’re trying to match wedding colors, try http://www.candywarehouse.com.  Their site allows you to shop by candy color.

Also, I know that JoAnn sells little metal scoops to put in your jars 2 for $5!  Look in the little Bargain Bins for them….
